Step 1: Print out Papers Needed for Stingray

Step 2: Cut Out the Pieces of the Stingray

After, cut out the pieces of the stingray. The lines of the cut outs are thick to allow for any cutting mistakes.

Use several coffee filters to create a bump to place in the front of the stingray’s body. Bunch it together and place a piece of tape to keep it together.  Tape the coffee filter to the front, center end of the body of the stingray.

Step 4: Attach the Top and Bottom Body Pieces Together

Next, attach the other body of the strong ray on top of the one you have taped the coffee filter to. There are several ways you can attach the bodies together.  You can staple, glue or used double sided tape.  Each come with their own pros and cons.

Step 5: Add the Tail

Glue the tail to the back of the stingray’s body.

Step 6: Add Details to the Body

Add details to the stingray's body. Use a black marker to add a nose and mouth to the bottom side of the stingray.  It looks like a smiley face when drawn. Then, add gills along the side.

Step 7: Add Eyes to the Body

Next, create the eyes my drawing a circle on scrap gray paper. Next, add a black line for the eyelid and a circle on the eye.
