Smore Craft

Summer time is a great time for smores, that yummy campfire treat! Everyone loves it a different way, I love my marshmallow burnt. Then, smooshed on top of a graham cracker with Hershey's chocolate followed by another graham cracker.
Make some smores for imaginary play for your child to use this summer. This project involves a hot glue gun, so this a great project for you to do with your child. To start hot glue some popsicle sticks together, I had some mini sticks I used as a foundation for holding the back together. You can also use a large popsicle stick which can easily be cut with a pair of scissors.

Start by hot gluing some popsicle sticks together.
Now paint some of the popsicle sticks white for the marshmallow and some brown for the chocolate. Allow the popsicle sticks to dry after painting.

Paint the sticks to look like a marshmallow and chocolate.
Now cut paper or a foam sheet to size for the graham crackers for the top and bottom. Use a hot glue gun to attach the paper or foam to the popsicle sticks.

Create a few of these for with your child to use for pretend play. You can also add cute details to the smore with a marker.

Make these smores with foam or cardstock.
