Mother's Day flowers- Easy DIY Card
Mother's Day is a special time to let moms know how important they are. Moms appreciate gifts and breakfast in bed, but a handmade card is the BEST! Create this adorable card that is too easy to make, for anyone. I am being serious, simply follow these step by step directions and make this beautiful card that any mom will love to receive for Mother's Day.
To begin, choose any color of cardstock for your background color. Cardstock is the best choice for this project, it will hold up better to the paint.
After, cut a rectangle shape ( color of choice) to make a vase for the flowers. Glue this at the bottom of the paper.
Alternatively, you can also paint a vase using paint.
Next, use a shade of green paint to add stems to the plant. Just simply add lines going in different directions.

Next, use a small paintbrush to add leaves all over the stems. Keep adding to cover the stems. You can even add a stem and leaves going down the vase.

After, choose another lighter shade of green paint. Go back in and add more leaves using the second color of paint.
Add some more leaves with the second shade of green.
Now it is time to add the flowers. You will use white and another color. I used pinks but you can use any color. First, using a popsicle stick, add a small blob of white paint. Then, add a small blob of your other color directly next to it. You will then use the popsicle stick to swirl the paint in a circular motion. This will create the flowers on the plant.

Repeat this process using white and a second color. I chose a second shade of pink, but again you can choose any color you wish.
Last, add a message to mom. You can write it yourself or use a premade saying. Download them below. Enjoy creating this beautiful flowers for your mom this Mother's Day.
